The blessings in random conversations

I was looking for a company that could execute a brief for a friend's startup a while ago. I have had it rough getting a company that can do what my friend expected. I had been scouting for almost a month until one morning. How did it happen?. I went to the car wash close to my house to do my routine Sunday morning car wash before church. I was seated on the customer's balcony of the car wash when one elderly but smartly dressed man walked to the chair beside me to take his seat. I greeted him, and he responded warmly. A few minutes later, I decided to pass a compliment on his car. I said, "I like your car, sir"! he gladly replied, "thank you". That was how our conversation started, and before I knew Jack, he told me about his company and what they do. I did not mince words that I had been looking for him for almost a month. To cut a long story short, his company is the one I put forward to my friend because they ticked all the boxes. Incredibly, what we are looking for sometimes is embedded in our day to day activities and not in the long emails and adverts we are placing online.Sometimes, the help you need is in the hand of that boy who comes to your office to clean. That person you have refused to greet but comes to work for your friend may be the one that will give you the information you need to progress. The business secret you need may be in the mouth of that 15year old boy.Don't overlook random conversations this week. Greet that man. Pass that compliment. Pick a conversation up with that stranger. There is a blessing in randomness. He gives understanding to the simpleOluwaseun David ADEPOJUJoin my mailing list
