What makes a “tech-bro “go-pro”

As the tech industry continues to thrive, more professionals are considering a pivot into this dynamic field. While encouraging individuals to pivot into a technology career is essential, it is equally crucial to guide them on how to leverage their existing skills and experiences as they learn tech. In today's evolving job market, many professionals struggle when attempting to transition fully into technology. We have seen examples of sound and solid bankers become struggling software developers. I am trying to speak to the importance of finding intersections between previous expertise and newfound tech skills to succeed in the ever-competitive tech landscape.

Professionals who solely focus on acquiring technical skills may find it difficult to stand out among their peers. This holds true for individuals transitioning from non-tech backgrounds, where their prior experiences and unique perspectives can be overlooked.
