GO BACK TO THE MANUAL

I recently bought a ring light for my home office, and after the delivery man left, I opened the box. The first thing I saw in the box was the manufacturer's manual. I picked it up and threw it aside. In my mind, this is not the first time I will be setting up a gadget without reading the manual. For the next 30 minutes, I struggled to figure out how to set up the tripod of the ring light. The thoughtless me had to call the retailer that the ring light he sold to me was bad. The guy told me to read the manual as he had never had any issues with all the copies he sold.I sluggishly picked up the manual, went to the page that talks about the tripod and boom, I got it.My experience failed me.What are the lessons here;1. Times are changing, and the things you thought you know are getting outdated. You need the manual to adapt to the future.2. We usually think we can achieve so much because we are smart when all we need to accomplish much more is by dropping our ego and learning new ways.3. You can never know a product more than the manufacturer.4. We waste time and dissipate energy when we leave out the manual in life.5. Many have devices with ten functions, but they only use two because they did not read the manual. This is true for humans as well.6. The same way the helicopter aerial videographers of the 1960s cannot just pick a drone and fly without learning, the same way you should think about the future.7. Why pick trial and error in your life when the knowledge you need to make the right decision is right there with you?.8. Just like me, many of you call the retailers when the manufacturer manual is right there with you. You are seeking information in the wrong places when all you need is right there with you.He gives understanding to the simple.Oluwaseun David ADEPOJU
