Don’t go big this year, go home.

Greetings and a happy new year. What a wonderful opportunity to see the new year.

I've discovered that a year's productivity does not have to be a long list of tasks. A day before the new year of 2014, I made a long list of things to do. 2014 passed without any of those things being done beyond the first week. I didn't make a list in 2015, but I did make one decision. I made the decision to change my work ethics and I stood by it. Everything that happened after that decision checked all of the boxes on the lists I made in 2014.

This year has only just begun, and you are already under pressure to complete 22 or 35 tasks. Slow down and consider what is most important to change or work on. One wise decision can help to eliminate redundant to-do lists.

Many people need to change their behaviors this year, and everything on their to-do list will be fulfilled.  Many people need to change their work ethics, and they won't need their 50-item list. Changing your time management skills can help you with your list of 100 productivity hacks.

Make change easier for yourself this year by focusing on the important things.

Have a wonderful year.
