Can your experience expire?

Despite all of your understanding of strategy and your ability to see a long distance, you will not always make the proper choice. There will be a few instances in which your vision will go fuzzy, causing you to fall down. There will be a few instances in which your experience will let you down, and you will come dangerously close to questioning everything that you had learned and perfected along the way.There will be times in your life when the lessons you've learned will appear to have been forgotten, causing you to question your level of knowledge. You will reflect on the occasions in the past when the tactics that have most recently failed have been successful, and you will start to investigate what went wrong.If the same speech that earned you a standing ovation a few weeks ago fails to move anyone this week, you may begin to question whether or not you are actually talented and whether or not your previous success was only hype. It's possible that the concept that sold one million copies of your product in the previous year won't move a single unit in the current year.When you find yourself in a predicament like this, it is important to remind yourself that whatever the circumstances, you are still the amazing person that you have always been. The presence of a few gloomy patches on an otherwise sunny day serves as a reminder that perfection is an unattainable goal and that it is possible to be both a finished masterpiece and a work in progress at the same time.
