WHO IS DAVID ADEPOJU?

Oluwaseun David ADEPOJU is a Nigerian writer, speaker and academic digerati, working at the intersection of academia and technology advocacy. He prognosticates digital futures intellectually through foresight designs. Oluwaseun is known for his thought leadership on African Identity and research interests in the digital society, e-government, technology policies and digital philosophies. As a two time TEDx Speaker, he spoke at the TEDxUI in 2017 on technology readiness in Nigeria and at TEDxMokola in 2017 where he spoke on the topic “May history repeat itself”.

He is currently a Global Challenges Faculty at the African Leadership Univesity, Kigali Rwanda. Before joining the University as a member of the faculty, he was the founder and the manager of TECHmIT Africa, a Technology and Innovation Ecosystem Advocacy organization in Nigeria. He was featured in the GIZ-MakeIT Africa Technology Trendscouting Report of 2018 as one of the experts working in the technology field in Africa and won the TSL Prize for technology and innovation in SouthWest. Nigeria, in the same year. As a conference speaker, he has spoken at Google Business Conference Nigeria, OpenCon Algeria, Meet the Farmers Conference in Rwanda, STEPI Conference in South Korea and the first African Entrepreneurship Conference at the De Montfort University, Leicester United Kingdom.

Oluwaseun’s academic work has been published in internationally reputable journals, and his thought leadership/life application storytelling contents have been read and shared widely across all the continents of the world.
